  • knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • skill in operating computer, fax machines, multi-line telephone systems and copy machines
  • clear and concise speaking ability
  • ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma
  • two years of experience in a medical office setting
  • knowledge of medical terminology and medical records
  • excellent computer skills
  • strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • perform administrative duties for physicians and clinical teams
  • travel with assigned physicians between office locations if required
  • manage patient records and appointment schedules
  • communicate effectively with patients, peers, and clinical staff
  • cover patient navigator shifts at various locations as a float staff member
  • operate office technology including computers, fax machines, telephones, and copiers
  • maintain clear and concise communication both verbally and in writing
