Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of medical office experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Attention to detail
- Flexible availability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Minimum two years of experience registering and scheduling patients preferred
- Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology preferred
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Basic computer skills with typing speed of 25 words per minute and 96 percent accuracy
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Flexibility to work at other locations and schedules when needed
Job Duties
- Obtain demographics and financial information and enter into the computer system
- Register patients over the phone and schedule appointments
- Collect and make copies of insurance cards and driver's licenses
- Answer telephone calls, take messages, and return voicemails
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Perform clerical tasks as needed
- Accurately process financial transactions
