Job Requirements

  • High school education or GED preferred
  • Associate's or technical degree in hospitality or related experience preferred
  • Three years patient access, hotel, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred
  • Previous patient access experience preferred
  • Knowledge of AIDET guidelines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to remain professional under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or GED

  • Three years patient access, hotel, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred
  • Previous patient access experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Welcomes patients and family members in a professional manner
  • Follows AIDET guidelines in all patient interactions
  • Oversees daily activities of the front desk and lobby areas including tidiness
  • Greets patients upon arrival and navigates patient flow
  • Assists with check-in process and monitors patient registration fast track tracker
  • Tracks patient wait times and escalates delays to appropriate leaders
  • Provides patient flow updates to patient access leadership and resolves real-time patient concerns
  • Anticipates patient and family needs and addresses them promptly
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
