Job Requirements

  • High school education or GED preferred
  • Associate's or technical degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Three years of patient access, hotel, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred
  • Previous patient access experience preferred
  • Ability to follow AIDET guidelines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to patient experience and customer service excellence

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or GED preferred

  • Three years of experience in patient access, hotel, restaurant, retail, or customer service preferred
  • Previous patient access experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in computer systems for patient registration

Job Duties

  • Welcomes patients and family members in a professional manner following AIDET guidelines
  • Oversees daily activities of the front desk and lobby including tidiness
  • Greets patients upon arrival and navigates patient flow
  • Assists with the check-in process and monitors patient registration fast track tracker
  • Tracks patient wait times and escalates delays to leadership
  • Provides patient flow updates to patient access leadership and assists in resolving concerns
  • Anticipates patient and family needs and addresses them in real-time
