Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months of direct customer service or hospitality experience
  • Basic working knowledge of computer systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to reason, interpret and evaluate situations to provide assistance and resolve issues
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with diverse individuals

Job Qualifications

  • Basic working knowledge of computer systems
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills

  • Interpersonal skills to interact and communicate with individuals of various diversities and abilities
  • Experience working with an electronic medical records system (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Greet all patients, families, visitors and staff in assigned area
  • Proactively assist individuals by providing information, direction and hospitality
  • Provide guidance related to other OSF facilities and service areas
  • Coordinate transportation needs for patients and visitors
  • Offer local area directions and advise about accommodations or amenities
  • Maintain a welcoming and helpful presence to promote a positive visitor experience
  • Use basic computer systems to assist with inquiries and coordination
