Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year experience as a driver, preferably in health care
- Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to maintain courteous and professional conduct
- Must possess adequate sight and hearing or use prosthetics
- No health conditions that prevent job requirements
- Ability to work various weather conditions
- Adherence to dress code and personal hygiene standards
- Availability for full or part-time work and overtime if required
Job Qualifications

- One year of experience as a driver, preferably in a health care setting
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to relate to residents and customers courteously and diplomatically
- Knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance procedures
- Understanding of fire, safety, and disaster program roles
Job Duties
- Provides safe, reliable, and courteous transportation service for residents to on-and-off-campus outings and errands
- Prepares the bus for operation and coordinates necessary vehicle maintenance
- Ensures resident safety and satisfaction is a priority
- Follows Village and departmental policies and procedures
- Understands role in the Village fire, safety, and disaster programs
- Maintains pleasant, professional conduct with residents, family members, and visitors
- Checks vehicles for proper operation and cleanliness
- Runs errands and delivers messages
- Assists with room set-ups for special events
- Maintains daily concierge and vehicular logs
- Performs other duties as assigned
