Job Requirements
- Experience in lieu of degree or diploma will be accepted
- Prior restaurant waitstaff experience preferred
- Prior food serving or dining service experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Willingness to work rotating shifts
- Ability to follow dietary restrictions and modified diets
- Reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Duties
- Serve patient meals on assigned units
- Communicate patient food issues and needs to Food & Nutrition Services
- Interact with Nursing regarding patient nutrition needs
- Assist dietitian with monitoring patients on NPO, clear liquid and full liquid diets
- Record food intake for patients on intake analysis
- React accurately and effectively to changes to ensure timely and accurate modified diets
- Ensure patient satisfaction on assigned units
