Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office or similar setting
- Proficiency with computers
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills

- Fluency in Spanish preferred

- Compassionate and positive attitude with a commitment to patient care and willingness to manage both existing and new patients
Job Duties
- Greet patients and visitors in person and over the phone, answering inquiries or directing them appropriately
- Schedule appointments in person or by phone to maximize patient satisfaction and treatment room utilization
- Verify patient information through interviews, reviewing and recording medical and medication histories, taking vital signs, and confirming the purpose of visits
- Complete patient records by documenting examinations, treatments, and test results
- Perform administrative tasks, including checking patients in and out, collecting copayments and other payments, managing prior authorizations and filing insurance paperwork, updating medical records and supporting documentation for orders
- Provide clerical support, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and assisting with projects assigned by the office manager
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations
