Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three months of related experience or training
  • Ability to use EMR scheduling and EPIC software preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to three months related experience and or training
  • Medical receptionist experience a plus
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records scheduling software a plus
  • EPIC software knowledge is a plus
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software

Job Duties

  • Manage front desk operations including patient check-in and check-out
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals
  • Verify insurance details and process authorizations
  • Collect payments and assist with billing workflows
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the Electronic Medical Records system
  • Answer phone calls and assist patients with inquiries
  • Uphold HIPAA compliance ensuring patient confidentiality
