Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to manage front desk operations efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems and basic office software
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- Ability to maintain accurate patient records and handle sensitive information responsibly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Medical receptionist experience a plus
- Medical experience is preferred
- EMR scheduling software knowledge a plus
- EPIC software knowledge is a plus
- Spreadsheet and word processing software proficiency
Job Duties
- Manage front desk operations including patient check-in/out appointment scheduling and referral coordination while delivering exceptional customer service
- Verify insurance process authorizations and collect payments to ensure smooth billing and patient access to care
- Maintain accurate patient records by registering new patients updating information in the Electronic Medical Records system and preparing necessary documents
- Answer phone calls assist patients and uphold HIPAA compliance ensuring a welcoming and professional healthcare experience
