Job Requirements

  • Graduation from a senior high school or GED equivalent
  • Office experience in a dentist's or physician's office preferred
  • Experience with children’s dentistry preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide quality customer service to patients and parents at check-in and check-out
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits prior to appointments
  • Greet parents and patients upon arrival and departure
  • Keep parents informed about the progress of their child's appointment
  • Maintain a clean and organized waiting and front desk area
  • Coordinate with clinical team leaders and doctors for same-day patient care
  • Schedule follow-up operatory and six-month recall appointments
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately
  • Make outbound calls to confirm or reschedule appointments and follow-up on needed treatments
  • Ensure all patient files are updated and properly filed by the end of the day
  • Collect out-of-pocket balances from patients prior to treatment
  • Adhere to all government regulations, company standards, and compliance programs
  • Participate in community events and promote a positive image of the company
  • Collaborate with team members in morning huddles to enhance customer focus and teamwork
  • Perform other duties as assigned
