Job Requirements

  • Graduation from a senior high school or GED equivalent
  • Office experience in a dentist's or physician's office preferred
  • Experience with children's dentistry preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency with patient management software
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Duties

  • Provide quality customer service to patients and parents at check-in and check-out
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits
  • Greet parents and patients upon arrival and departure
  • Keep parents informed about appointment progress
  • Maintain a clean and organized waiting and front desk area
  • Prepare patient files prior to appointments by updating records and verifying details
  • Coordinate with clinical team for same-day patient care opportunities
  • Assist in meeting financial targets by managing schedules
  • Schedule follow-up and recall appointments
  • Answer and direct incoming calls
  • Make outbound calls to confirm and reschedule appointments
  • Ensure proper filing of patient records
  • Adhere to government regulations and company compliance
  • Collect out-of-pocket balances from patients prior to treatment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
