Job Requirements

  • Desire to enter the healthcare field to care for others
  • must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb
  • flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • willingness to float to various facilities
  • ability to handle 12+ hour shifts and remain on feet
  • commitment to patient safety and quality care

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • comfortable working around blood and needles
  • physical and mental ability to stand for long hours
  • willingness to train and work across multiple facilities
  • experience in healthcare preferred such as BONENT certification, Certified Hemodialysis Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Phlebotomy certification
  • successful completion of pre-employment color blind test

Job Duties

  • Provide direct one-on-one patient care
  • monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • measure and record vital statistics and patient observations
  • set up and manage hemodialysis machines
  • educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • build long-term relationships with patients
  • work collaboratively with cross-functional care team under RN supervision
