Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- certification as a nursing assistant or six months of recent experience as a nursing assistant
- six months of recent experience as a nursing assistant
- current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or one clinical semester of nursing school or successful completion of an acute care nurse aide course or six months previous experience in a healthcare position can be substituted
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- current Basic Life Support (BLS) must be maintained through retraining for duration of employment
- Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
Job Qualifications

- certification as a nursing assistant or six months of recent nursing assistant experience
- six months of recent experience as a nursing assistant
- current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or one clinical semester of nursing school or successful completion of an acute care nurse aide course
- ability to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
Job Duties
- Provide basic patient care
- assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment
- take and record vital signs and relay information to patient's nurse
- provide general nursing care and routine treatments
- facilitate processing of patients
- provide clerical receptionist support
- offer coordinating support
- perform additional duties related to departmental needs
