Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must have excellent customer service skills
- ability to multitask and manage multiple computer programs
- strong organizational skills
- ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- must be able to work a standard 40-hour week, including occasional evenings or weekends
- physical ability to perform sedentary work with frequent computer use
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- communication skills - must be able to relate well to business office and field leadership
- ability to multitask, organizational detail, ability to meet deadlines, work with little to no supervision
- as a member of a team, must possess efficient time management and presentation skills
Job Duties
- Greets everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner
- schedules new referrals received by fax or by telephone from patients and physician offices
- verifies insurance coverage for patients
- collects patient payments
- maintains an orderly and organized front office workspace
- creates an inviting clinic atmosphere
- manages schedule efficiently
