Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in a medical clinic or customer service
- BLS certification preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage time and organize tasks
- Professional and courteous communication

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Strong listening skills
- Willingness to travel locally up to 10% for coverage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM

- Bilingual is a plus
- Experience with HIPAA and AHCA

Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 1 year work experience in a medical clinic or prior customer service experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and courteously
- Mindset focused on problem resolution and team goals
- Knowledge of medical terminology, products, standards, policies, and procedures
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Strong listening skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
- Skilled in basic phone and computer operation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Detail-oriented and accurate
- Ability to problem solve and multitask
- Proficient English communication skills

Job Duties
- Interact with patients and visitors in a polite and friendly manner
- Enthusiastically greet every guest that enters the center
- Prepare new patient registration, patient check-in, and patient check-out
- Answer all phone calls professionally and courteously, taking detailed and accurate messages
- Maintain and organize provider's schedule by scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments
- Verify patient demographic data and obtain insurance information
- Collect necessary copays and outstanding balances before visits
- Ensure patients are scheduled for proper appointment types
- Complete end-of-day financial reconciliation report and provide it to leadership
- Send detailed telephone encounters to corresponding parties
- Scan necessary documents into the EMR system
- Monitor and process incoming faxes
- Restock office supplies and maintain inventory log
- Maintain cleanliness of front office and lobby area
- Maintain confidentiality of patient personal information and medical records
- Participate in daily or weekly team huddles
- Present customer service surveys during check out and escalate issues as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
