Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience in medical clinic or customer service
- BLS preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional and courteous communication skills
- Problem-solving and team-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare policies
- Calm under pressure
- Strong listening skills
- Ability to travel locally up to 10 percent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic phone and computer operation skills
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask
- Effective English communication
- Bilingual is an advantage
- Knowledge of HIPAA and AHCA
- Healthcare experience preferred

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a medical clinic or prior customer service experience
- BLS certification preferred
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with patients and team members
- Problem-solving mindset focused on patient satisfaction and team goals
- Knowledge of medical products, terminology, standards, policies, and procedures
- Ability to remain calm in busy or stressful situations
- Demonstrated strong listening skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
- Skilled in basic phone and computer operation
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy
- Ability to multitask and follow instructions
- Proficient in English communication
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Experience with HIPAA and AHCA regulations preferred

Job Duties
- Interact with patients and visitors in a polite and friendly manner
- Enthusiastically greet every guest that enters the center
- Prepare new patient registration, patient check-in, and patient check-out
- Answer all phone calls professionally and courteously, taking detailed and accurate messages
- Maintain and organize the provider’s schedule by scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments
- Verify patient demographic information and insurance details
- Collect necessary copays and outstanding balances before visits
- Run end-of-day financial reconciliation and provide the report to leadership
- Send detailed telephone encounters to corresponding parties
- Scan necessary documents into the EMR system
- Monitor and process incoming faxes
- Restock office supplies and maintain inventory
- Maintain cleanliness of the front office and lobby area
- Maintain confidentiality of patient personal information and medical records
- Participate in daily and weekly huddles
- Present patients with customer service surveys during check-out and escalate if needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
