Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Under one year of experience in a related role
- BLS Card - American Heart Association or American Red Cross only
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Transport patients safely and timely within the hospital complex
- Provide courteous and comfortable patient transport services
- Assist patients with mobility and ensure appropriate use of transport equipment
- Adhere to hospital protocols for infection control and patient confidentiality
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of transport equipment
- Report any incidents or concerns during patient transport
