Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Desire to provide compassionate patient and family support
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Act 34 clearance
  • Previous healthcare or customer service experience preferred
  • Availability to work full-time shifts between 7 am and 7 pm three days a week

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or active high school GED program enrollment or one year of previous job experience
  • Desire drive and compassion to provide exceptional patient and family experience
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Previous healthcare or customer service experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Greets patients and families warmly providing verbal direction and escort assistance
  • Disseminates patient information while respecting confidentiality
  • Issues parking discounts and patient scooters
  • Cleans and organizes patient and public areas following procedures
  • Assembles and serves meals according to diet orders maintaining food safety
  • Transports patients equipment and lab specimens safely and timely
  • Orders stocks and delivers supplies and equipment to patient units
  • Answers unit phones responds to call lights and assists patients
  • Maintains supply inventories and temperature logs
  • Rounds hourly to ensure all responsibilities are met
  • Performs other duties as assigned
