Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Desire to provide compassionate patient and family support
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Act 34 clearance
- Previous healthcare or customer service experience preferred
- Availability to work full-time shifts between 7 am and 7 pm three days a week
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or active high school GED program enrollment or one year of previous job experience
- Desire drive and compassion to provide exceptional patient and family experience
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Previous healthcare or customer service experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Greets patients and families warmly providing verbal direction and escort assistance
- Disseminates patient information while respecting confidentiality
- Issues parking discounts and patient scooters
- Cleans and organizes patient and public areas following procedures
- Assembles and serves meals according to diet orders maintaining food safety
- Transports patients equipment and lab specimens safely and timely
- Orders stocks and delivers supplies and equipment to patient units
- Answers unit phones responds to call lights and assists patients
- Maintains supply inventories and temperature logs
- Rounds hourly to ensure all responsibilities are met
- Performs other duties as assigned
