Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent or active enrollment in a High School/GED program
- One year of previous job experience can substitute for education requirement
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Desire to provide exceptional patient and family experience
- No requirement for on-call duties, floating, or travel
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or active enrollment in High School/GED program or equivalent experience
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Previous experience in health care or customer service is a plus
Job Duties
- Welcome and escort patients and visitors to correct locations
- Provide hospital info and issue parking passes and scooters
- Track patient belongings at admission
- Clean and organize patient rooms and public areas
- Restock supplies and change linens
- Report maintenance issues
- Prepare and serve meals per dietary orders
- Deliver trays and confirm patient identity
- Safely transport patients, equipment, and specimens
- Disinfect and inspect transport equipment
- Set up, sanitize, and test telehealth carts
- Order and stock unit supplies and equipment
- Monitor inventory, expiration dates, and temperature logs
- Answer phones, respond to call lights, and assist patients
- Follow safety protocols and report incidents
- Perform other duties as assigned
