Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent or one year of previous job experience required in lieu of hs diploma/ged
  • ability to work rotating weekend and holiday shifts
  • strong communication skills
  • dependable and punctual
  • ability to maintain patient confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • knowledge of hospital policies and procedures preferred
  • customer service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • greet and assist patients families and visitors ensuring they reach their destinations while maintaining confidentiality
  • serve as a resource for hospital policies visiting hours directions and more
  • handle patient belongings tracking parking validations scooters and meal tray delivery
  • clean and organize patient rooms public areas and other spaces replenish supplies and report maintenance needs
  • manage and organize supplies deliver materials to units and monitor inventory and expiration dates
  • answer phones respond to patient call lights
