Job Requirements
- High school diploma or active enrollment in a high school or GED program or one year of previous job experience in lieu of high school diploma or GED
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- ability to work evening and night shifts including weekends and holidays
- valid clearances including Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI clearance with renewals
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to perform physical tasks such as transporting patients and equipment
Job Qualifications
- Must have the desire, drive, and compassion needed to provide an exceptional patient and family experience at all times
- high school diploma OR active High School/GED program enrollment OR one year of previous job experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED
- previous experience in health care or customer service is a plus, but not required
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- act 31 child abuse reporting with renewal
- act 33 with renewal
- act 34 with renewal
- act 73 FBI clearance with renewal
Job Duties
- Welcome and escort patients and visitors to correct locations
- provide hospital info and issue parking passes and scooters
- track patient belongings at admission
- clean and organize patient rooms and public areas
- restock supplies and change linens
- report maintenance issues
- prepare and serve meals per dietary orders
- deliver trays and confirm patient identity
- safely transport patients, equipment, and specimens
- disinfect and inspect transport equipment
- set up, sanitize, and test telehealth carts
- order and stock unit supplies and equipment
- monitor inventory, expiration dates, and temperature logs
- answer phones, respond to call lights, and assist patients
- follow safety protocols and report incidents
- perform in accordance with all other system-wide competencies/behaviors
- perform other duties as assigned
