Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent or one year of previous job experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED
  • Ability to work rotating, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Must have clearances with renewal including 31, 33, 34, and 73
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times
  • Basic computer and phone answering skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience in customer service or healthcare settings preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors, ensuring they reach their destinations while maintaining confidentiality
  • Serve as a resource for hospital policies, visiting hours, directions, and more
  • Handle patient belongings tracking, parking validations, scooters, and meal tray delivery
  • Clean and organize patient rooms, public areas, and other spaces
  • replenish supplies and report maintenance needs
  • Manage and organize supplies, deliver materials to units, and monitor inventory and expiration dates
  • Answer phones and respond to patient call lights
