Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent or one year of previous job experience in lieu of high school diploma or GED
  • ability to work rotating evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • physical ability to stock supplies and clean patient areas
  • basic phone and administrative skills
  • clearances with renewal including 31, 33, 34, and 73

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent or one year of previous job experience in lieu of high school diploma or GED
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • customer service experience preferred
  • basic knowledge of healthcare environment preferred

Job Duties

  • greet and assist patients, families, and visitors ensuring they reach their destinations while maintaining confidentiality
  • serve as a resource for hospital policies, visiting hours, directions, and more
  • handle patient belongings tracking, parking validations, scooters, and meal tray delivery
  • clean and organize patient rooms, public areas, and other spaces
  • replenish supplies and report maintenance needs
  • manage and organize supplies, deliver materials to units, and monitor inventory and expiration dates
  • answer phones, respond to patient call lights
