Job Requirements
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk frequently throughout the shift
- Capacity to bend, crawl, crouch, kneel, stoop or reach overhead occasionally
- Ability to lift and carry or push and pull up to 10 lbs
- Effective communication skills including talking and hearing continuously
- Ability to read, concentrate, and think analytically frequently
- Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work during inclement weather
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of relevant hospitality or customer service experience in a hospital environment

Job Duties
- Greet patients/families with a positive, customer-focused and appropriate manner, providing directions and information, helping find patient locations and otherwise assisting visitors
- Staffs Information desks in the assigned areas
- Staffs the intensive care units, working with nursing to provide guidance and enforcement of the visitation policies for those units
- Drive the courtesy cart along the prescribed route picking up and assisting patients and families who need help in getting to their destinations
- Assist patients into and out of cars as they arrive and depart the hospital
- Recognize patients and visitors in need of assistance and approach and fulfill the patient’s needs
- Monitor and maintain visitor waiting areas as assigned
- Complete other duties as assigned
