Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience in hospital support or hospitality role with customer service
- Ability to work during inclement weather conditions
- Availability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening including criminal background check, drug testing, and education verification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- One year experience in a support/hospitality role and customer service in a hospital setting
- Must be able to work during inclement weather
- Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet patients and families with a positive, customer-focused and appropriate manner, providing directions and information, helping find patient locations and otherwise assisting visitors
- Staff information desks in the assigned areas
- Staff the intensive care units, working with nursing to provide guidance and enforcement of the visitation policies for those units
- Drive the courtesy cart along the prescribed route picking up and assisting patients and families who need help in getting to their destinations
- Assist patients into and out of cars as they arrive and depart the hospital
- Recognize patients and visitors in need of assistance and approach and fulfill the patient's needs
- Monitor and maintain visitor waiting areas as assigned
- Complete other duties as assigned
