Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date
BLS or CPR card valid for at least sixty days from hire date
Ability to work night shifts
Capacity to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced setting

Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work night shifts
Competency in data entry and administrative tasks
Experience in healthcare registration or patient access preferred

Job Duties

Meet with patients and/or caregivers to exchange necessary information and documentation
Provide explanation of visits, instructions, and address questions
Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-certification/authorization as needed
Escort and transport patients and visitors within the facility, including assistance with wheelchairs or oxygen tanks
Determine and accept required payments including co-pays and deductibles or refer to financial counselors
Ensure accurate and timely entry of demographic, billing, and clinical information in the registration system
Exercise critical thinking and judgment to work independently in a fast-paced environment
