Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire

- current BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card valid for at least sixty days from hire date
Job Duties
- Meet with patient and/or patient’s caregiver to exchange necessary information and documentation
- provide explanation of visit, instructions, and address concerns and questions
- verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-certification/authorization as necessary
- escort and transport patients and visitors within facility, which may include a wheelchair or oxygen tank
- determine and accept required payments, including co-pays and deductibles, or refer to financial counselors for follow up
- ensure that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy
- apply critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
