Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Availability to work weekends
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and caregivers
Basic computer skills and familiarity with registration systems
Ability to transport or escort patients as needed
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work part-time hours as specified

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with patient registration or clerical duties preferred

Job Duties

Meet with patients and/or caregivers to exchange necessary information and documentation
Provide explanation of visit, instructions, and address concerns and questions
Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-certification/authorization as necessary
Escort and transport patients and visitors within the facility, including use of wheelchair or oxygen tank
Determine and accept required payments including co-pays and deductibles or refer to financial counselors for follow up
Ensure timely and accurate entry of demographic, billing, and clinical information into the registration system
Improve lives through compassionate patient interaction and support
