Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Availability to work early morning to early afternoon shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift
- Ability to kneel, grasp, and lift or carry up to 50lbs regularly
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- Willingness to learn operation of bakery manufacturing equipment
- Ability to multitask in high-volume production
- Maintain high product quality standards
- Professional communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in high-volume pastry or banquet production kitchen
- Passion for baking and attention to quality and cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Familiarity with large planetary and spiral mixers
- Ability to communicate professionally with bakery clients
- Experience in bakery manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices beneficial
- Fluency in Spanish and English advantageous
Job Duties
- Identify and select ingredients for baking
- Prepare and mix dough, cookies, pies, pastries, and confections
- Adhere to a predetermined mix schedule
- Assist pastry and bread teams with shaping, baking, and scaling
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and dish areas
- Operate bakery equipment such as deck ovens, proofers, and rack ovens
- Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
