Job Requirements

  • Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to taste product for quality assurance including buttercream(s), cake(s), cupcake(s) batter, cookie dough and other recipes as assigned
  • ServSafe Manager Food Handler Certification

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Culinary, Baking or Pastry Arts preferred
  • 2 years of leadership experience in a team environment
  • Ability to work in multiple regional locations
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Lead the teams by motivating, training, and developing the culinary team members in decorations skills
  • Decorate, finish, and inscribe a variety of products including but not limited to cakes, cupcakes, and frosted sugar cookies
  • Assign daily decorations needs to team members and ensure their completion
  • Ensure all food is prepared, handled, and stored according to all required food safety code standards
  • Create a fun, lively, and celebratory environment for team members
  • Maintain organized and deliberate work processes to support a fast-paced bakery setting
  • Uphold the "One team, One goal" philosophy within the team
