Job Requirements

  • Ability to taste product for quality assurance
  • Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 75 pounds
  • ServSafe Manager Food Handler Certification

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree in culinary, baking or pastry arts preferred
  • 2 years of leadership experience in a team environment
  • Ability to work in multiple regional locations
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Job Duties

  • Lead the teams by motivating, training, and developing the culinary team members in decorations skills
  • Decorate, finish, and inscribe on a variety of products including cakes, cupcakes, and frosted sugar cookies
  • Assign daily decorations needs to team members and ensure their completion
  • Ensure all food is prepared, handled, and stored according to required food safety code standards
  • Supervise quality assurance by tasting products such as buttercreams, cakes, cupcakes, cookie dough, and other recipes
  • Maintain a fun, lively and celebratory environment while working in an organized and fast-paced manner
  • Support safety and cleanliness standards in the culinary area
