Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in bakery or pastry department
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to work early morning shifts
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to stand walk or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Willingness to follow company safety policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in pastry preparation or culinary arts
  • Supervisory or leadership experience in a kitchen setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to train and lead kitchen staff

Job Duties

  • Manage food inventory control including ordering receiving and storing supplies while minimizing waste
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards in line with fine dining expectations
  • Lead and train kitchen staff fostering a collaborative team environment while ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation regulations
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Weigh measure and mix ingredients
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality standards presentation standards and food preparation checklist
