Job Requirements

  • minimum age of 21
  • high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant, production kitchen, or fine dining restaurant

  • knowledge of pastry and baking techniques

  • familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Job Duties

  • train, coach, and supervise pastry cooks, bakers, and support staff to ensure consistent execution and skill development
  • execute and oversee pastry and dessert production with a strong eye for detail, ensuring superior quality, flavor, and presentation at all times
  • accurately create, measure, read, and execute pastry recipes while maintaining standardized methods and portion control
  • ensure all products are properly labeled, dated, stored, and handled in compliance with sanitation and food safety standards
  • communicate effectively with culinary leadership and service teams to support service needs and respond to guest requests or feedback
  • assist the Executive Pastry Chef with purchasing, receiving, inventory control, scheduling, payroll, training documentation, coaching, and corrective action as needed
