Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of pastry or baking experience
  • experience in a lead or senior role preferred
  • strong understanding of baking and pastry techniques
  • experience with recipe development and costing preferred
  • comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • detail-oriented with a focus on consistency and execution
  • strong organization and time management skills
  • ability to multitask and adapt during service
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds and frequently reaching, bending, and stooping

Job Duties

  • assist in the development and execution of the pastry program
  • support recipe development, testing, and documentation
  • contribute to menu costing and ingredient management
  • prepare and execute pastry and dessert items according to established standards
  • ensure all items meet quality, consistency, and presentation expectations
  • maintain organization and cleanliness of pastry stations and storage areas
  • monitor inventory levels and communicate ordering needs
  • assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries
  • support prep production and ensure readiness for service
  • maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and storage standards
  • work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support overall service flow
  • assist with training and supporting team members as needed
