Job Requirements

  • Must have A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • Must possess progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Experience in catering preferred
  • Ability to manage high volume and complex foodservice operations
  • Knowledge of sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
  • Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction activities
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. or equivalent experience
  • Some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Catering experience is a plus
  • Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations is highly desirable
  • Experience with institutional and batch cooking helpful
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, cost control, and presentation
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
  • Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and controlling expenditures for the account
  • Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
  • Produce and execute catering events
  • Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
  • Supervise hourly pastry team to ensure daily production goals and quality standards are met
  • Participate actively in daily pastry production processes
  • Maintain sanitation and food safety standards throughout the pastry department
