Job Requirements
- A.S. degree or equivalent culinary experience
- Prior kitchen management experience
- Experience with high-volume food production
- Knowledge of cost control practices
- Familiarity with menu planning and culinary program development
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Ability to participate in client satisfaction programs
Job Qualifications
- A.S. or equivalent culinary experience
- Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Catering experience is a plus
- Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations
- Knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, email, and internet
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
- Willingness to engage in client satisfaction activities
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures for the account
- Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- Produce and execute catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary teams
- Supervise hourly pastry team during high-volume production
- Maintain sanitation and food safety standards
- Participate actively in pastry production and team management
