Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in pastry or bakery operations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Food safety knowledge
  • Ability to manage inventory and supplies
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Be a clear thinker, remain calm, and resolve problems using good judgment
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times
  • Basic math skills needed to understand and implement recipes and measurements
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
  • Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift, requires repetitive motion
  • Ability to obtain Riverside County Food Handlers Card
  • Must be available weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide direction for interviewing, hiring, counseling, training, and disciplining for pastry associates in coordination with human resources and executive chef
  • Schedule production work for associates
  • Control all food costs and payroll
  • Responsible for purchasing supplies
  • Coordinate production of all baked goods and dessert items ordered by outlets
  • Complete any special requests ordered by outlets or other departments
  • As needed, prepare wedding cakes for social functions
  • Coordinate and execute VIP amenities and lobby activations
