Job Requirements
- Certification in Pastry Arts or comparable professional experience
- Minimum of 2 years professional pastry kitchen experience in high-volume or catering environment
- Completion or ability to obtain Certified Food Service Manager certification within 90 days
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays, and extended shifts
- Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
- Proficiency in English
- Willingness to comply with company dress code
- Ability to collaborate with kitchen and event teams
- Commitment to high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Experience in leadership or supervisory roles preferred

Job Duties
- Arrive ready by being punctual and dressed according to the dress code
- Get your assignment by checking in with the Executive Pastry Chef for production tasks and event details
- Lead the team by supervising and supporting pastry staff and assigning tasks
- Master the menu and flow through pre-shift briefings reviewing production schedules and requests
- Set up for success by organizing kitchen setup and preparing necessary ingredients and tools
- Oversee pastry production ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to standards
- Coordinate with event teams to plate and serve desserts according to event timelines
- Practice safe food handling and enforce sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness by supervising kitchen breakdown and proper storage
- Coach and lead by providing training, mentorship, and feedback to pastry team members
- Monitor staffing and budget to manage labor efficiency and service quality
- Track attendance and performance ensuring accurate documentation
- Complete shift documentation by maintaining production records
- Support the production kitchen and assist with off-premises events
- Engage in team development including hiring and performance evaluations
- Attend meetings for planning and execution
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
