Job Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a pastry leadership position
  • Certification in hospitality-related field or equivalent preferred
  • Understanding of baking and pastry techniques and production
  • Basic understanding of kitchen equipment use
  • Positive demeanor and ability to give and take direction
  • Eagerness to learn and grow
  • Open availability
  • English fluency preferred, additional languages a plus

Job Duties

  • Cultivate a culture of Enlightened Hospitality for all stakeholders that supports business objectives and growth
  • Ensure high performance and overall excellence and hospitality in the pastry department during specific service periods
  • Ensure consistent execution of pastry offerings and timely flow of service
  • Maintain positive working relationships and clear communication with kitchen and service teams
  • Ensure all recipes, products, food preparations, and execution meet the restaurant's standards
  • Provide support to all pastry staff and actively participate on the line as needed
  • Assist in food prep assignments and cooking during peak periods while maintaining proper stock levels
  • Maintain a clean and stocked workplace, prep area, kitchen, storage area, and walk-in
  • Deliver a culture of Enlightened Hospitality to guests and team members
  • Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned to support operational success
