Job Requirements

  • Valid Arizona Food Handlers License
  • Open availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Previous experience in a pastry chef or sous chef role
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Completion of background check

Job Qualifications

  • Specialized advanced pastry training or education
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in supervising and training pastry staff
  • Proven ability to produce a variety of baked goods and pastries
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food handling

Job Duties

  • Oversee production of baked goods and pastries
  • Schedule pastry staff and ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Maintain high food quality and safety standards
  • Supervise and train pastry team members
  • Manage employee selection, training, development, and performance counseling
  • Produce custom wedding cakes for special events
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to meet culinary goals
