Job Requirements
- A minimum of two years of previous pastry experience preferred
- Knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Experience in luxury hotel environment is a plus
- Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts up to 200 pounds
- Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, and bending abilities required
- Must comply with health, safety, and sanitation policies
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments and multitask

Job Duties
- Manage inventory and control of pastry equipment and china required for events and restaurants
- Prepare and order all items for menus, create order sheets and inventory systems to ensure proper stock levels
- Support the creation of weekly schedules for pastry associates and manage payroll
- Oversee execution and delivery of hotel amenity programs
- Attend BEO meetings and communicate information to the pastry department in the absence of the pastry chef
- Monitor pastry production flow and adjust to adhere to cost and quality control procedures
- Ensure proper receiving, storage, temperature setting, rotation, and labeling of food products in compliance with health regulations
- Check cleanliness and working condition of kitchen equipment and review daily cleanliness practices with the culinary team
- Ensure the department complies with safety and sanitation policies
- Create wow moments for guests
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
