Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the pastry or food industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong knowledge of the pastry market, including current trends, customer preferences, and competitor landscape
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and analytical abilities to identify sales opportunities, analyze market data, and develop effective sales strategies
  • Leadership skills to effectively manage a sales team, set goals, and provide guidance and support
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in using sales management software and CRM systems
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in the pastry product category
  • Manage key customer accounts, build strong relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, product knowledge, and timely order fulfillment
  • Monitor market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and identify opportunities for product expansion, new market penetration, and strategic partnerships
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns, sales collateral, and product presentations to support sales efforts
  • Lead and motivate a sales team, set sales targets, provide coaching and guidance, and conduct performance evaluations
