Job Requirements

  • Pastry or culinary experience required
  • Ability to work full or part-time schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
  • Physical capacity to handle the demands of baking and kitchen work
  • Commitment to punctuality and reliability
  • Willingness to follow all company policies and procedures including safety measures
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior pastry or culinary experience required
  • Ability to follow recipes and production specifications accurately
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to lift and move items safely and follow safety protocols
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production and catering sheets
  • Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • Ensure food preparation follows approved recipes and production standards
  • Complete production records including waste tracking and inventory status
  • Maintain food quality, presentation, portion control and serving temperatures
  • Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils
  • Handle food safely in accordance with safety regulations
  • Clean equipment and workstations thoroughly
  • Interact with customers and resolve complaints courteously
  • Work efficiently during peak production and service times
  • Follow sanitation and safety principles including OSHA standards
  • Complete all assigned shift work timely and thoroughly
  • Perform other assigned duties as required
