Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in pastry or baking in a high-volume restaurant or bakery
  • Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working solo or collaboratively with a small team
  • Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
  • Capable of performing repetitive tasks and working in a hot kitchen environment
  • Adaptable and able to stay focused in a fast-paced, ever-changing setting
  • Flexible schedule availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Food handler's certificate or ability to obtain
  • Completion of in-house prep training provided upon hire
  • Prior prep or line cook experience in a high-volume culinary operation preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and produce a wide range of pastries and baked goods following company recipes and standards
  • Execute large-volume production efficiently and with attention to quality and consistency
  • Maintain a clean and organized prep area, following food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Work independently or as part of a small team to meet production goals
  • Follow prep lists and production schedules set by management
