Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in professional bread baking preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Knowledge of pastry production techniques
  • Understanding of baking science and ingredient functionality
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare, portion, and bake a wide range of pastries and baked goods ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to recipes and quality standards
  • Support daily production workflows by following established processes and operating bakery equipment safely, efficiently, and with care
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment in accordance with all health and safety guidelines
  • Work closely with the pastry, kitchen, and delivery teams to meet production timelines and communicate any product, inventory, or process needs
  • Bring a mindset of continuous learning offering ideas to refine recipes, improve workflow, and support the overall success of the production team
