Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a baker or pastry chef
  • food handlers certification
  • ability to operate professional kitchen equipment such as mixers and blenders
  • understanding of food safety practices
  • experience with piping and decorating techniques
  • excellent time management skills
  • ability to work early morning shifts
  • team-oriented mindset
  • ability to maintain composure in fast-paced environments

Job Duties

  • Assist lead Pastry Chef in developing pastry programs
  • create and prepare high volume cakes, pies, pastries, custards, breads
  • design new seasonal desserts
  • operate and maintain professional kitchen equipment including mixers and blenders
  • apply piping techniques for topping cakes, pies, and desserts
  • ensure food safety practices are followed
  • manage time effectively in a fast-paced kitchen
