Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work early morning shifts starting between 4:00 and 6:00 AM
- weekend and holiday availability
- ability to stand for extended periods
- physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- strong attention to detail
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- willingness to work part-time shifts ranging from 15 to 30 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- Previous food service or bakery experience preferred
- basic understanding of kitchen tools, food prep, and measurements
- ability to work early morning shifts
- strong work ethic and attention to detail
- ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
- bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Job Duties
- Scale and prepare ingredients for daily pastry production
- assist with dough shaping, folding, and portioning
- prepare fillings, toppings, and components like compotes, streusel, or custards
- maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized prep area
- follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- communicate and collaborate with bakers and pastry team to support efficient production
