Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work early morning shifts starting between 4:00 and 6:00 AM
  • weekend and holiday availability
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • willingness to work part-time shifts ranging from 15 to 30 hours per week

Job Qualifications

  • Previous food service or bakery experience preferred
  • basic understanding of kitchen tools, food prep, and measurements
  • ability to work early morning shifts
  • strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
  • bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Job Duties

  • Scale and prepare ingredients for daily pastry production
  • assist with dough shaping, folding, and portioning
  • prepare fillings, toppings, and components like compotes, streusel, or custards
  • maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized prep area
  • follow food safety and sanitation procedures
  • communicate and collaborate with bakers and pastry team to support efficient production
