Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous baking experience preferred
  • certification in food safety required
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
  • willingness to wear personal protective equipment and designated uniforms
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and safety guidelines
  • excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Background in baking industry or related field
  • understanding of baking practices, benchmarks, and food safety protocols
  • certification in food safety
  • basic mathematical skills including accurate counting
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • strong interpersonal abilities
  • physical ability to handle lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking
  • experience using personal protective equipment and wearing uniforms

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • set up workstation with all required baking supplies and equipment
  • measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
  • use baking equipment including ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • safely employ kitchen tools such as knives during food preparation
  • implement proper storage practices in line with food safety policies
  • sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after work to prevent germ spread
  • provide excellent customer service with a positive demeanor
  • comply with Aramark safety policies emphasizing food safety and sanitation
  • maintain security of company assets through adherence to safety measures
