Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience in pastry making or baking
  • food safety certification is mandatory
  • ability to follow standardized recipes precisely
  • physical ability to handle lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
  • strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • willingness to wear PPE and uniform as required

Job Qualifications

  • Background in baking industry or related field
  • understanding of baking practices and food safety protocols
  • certification in food safety
  • ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and accurate counting
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • strong interpersonal abilities
  • physical capability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
  • experience using Personal Protective Equipment and wearing designated uniforms

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • set up workstations with required baking supplies and equipment
  • measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
  • use baking equipment like ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • safely employ kitchen tools such as knives during food preparation
  • implement proper storage practices according to food safety policies
  • sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after work
  • provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor
  • abide by safety policies emphasizing food safety and sanitation
  • maintain security of company assets through adherence to safety measures
